Getting an unfill on Wednesday :-((

I have posted before about the problems that I have been having since my last fill in April. I haven't been able to eat hardly at all and when I am able to eat, 90% of the time I end up throwing it back up. I constantly keep horrible heartburn and hardly ever have any energy (guess its from not being able to eat).

I have been told by family, friends, people on here, and even my hubby that my band is to tight. Although I haven't been losing weight like I was before my last feel I haven't been gaining any either and didn't want to admit to myself that my band was to tight. Why I haven't wanted to admit to it, I have no earthly idea.

I finally decided today to call the doctor and explain what was going on and has been going on since my last fill and the nurse said just the same as everyone else had been telling me all along. My band is to tight and I need to come in to have some of the Fluid taken from my band.

So, I have a doctors appointment this coming Wednesday to have a slight unfill. I sure do hope that the doctor doesn't take to much out to where I am able to eat more than I should.

Stacy, I am happy you are going in to your doctor. I understand your concerns about them taking too much out. I hope it all goes well and you can start enjoying life again.

If too much is taken out, you can go back in a couple of weeks and have part of it put back. I danced between fill / unfill a few times before it was just right.

I have my one year checkup tomorrow - I have only lost 20 lbs but had 50 to lose so comes off slower than if I had more - that is what they tell me - anyway, I am very tight right now where I can hardly eat anything but I still don't think I am losing weight - I am worried like you that if he wants to take some out I will be able to eat too much and still not lose weight or even gain - there is a fine line between being too tight and not tight enough - I will ask my doctor tomorrow but it seems like I have gotten tighter since the temperature outside has been over 100 degrees for a couple of weeks - may just be dehydration issues but I could only eat 3 bites of my tuna salad at lunch and could barely get my protein shake down for breakfast - it is very frustrating - I wanted the sleeve but they said I didn't have enough weight to lose to justify it. Thanks.
