I had my lap-band surgery on 6/25/09, so I am two weeks out and I have been experiencing some left sided back pain and it is very annoying, has anyone else experienced this and will it go away. My port is on my right side. I am sitting here with an ice pack on it right now which seems to help until I take the ice pack off. Please someone tell me this will go away, it hurts. It's only been a month out for me and i can't lay on my left side because it feels like the band is stretching to the right side. I can't reach up to high either because of pain. i have tried heat and ice...i was told to go back to liquids and that maybe my body is takin it's sweet time adjusting...i know how it feels to be worried. wish i could be more of a help

Thank you... I appreciate.. I today had my first bite of solid but mush food, I loved it, I took so many liquids in that I just didn't think my body would hold any more, but I guess it kept me alive.
