newbie intro

Hi! Surgery was 6/29/09, 8 days ago. I felt really bloated for the first 5-6 days and got the hiccups a million times a day. I am having trouble with the strictly liquids, and am having trouble burping, so I feel gassy a lot. I expect things to settle down in the next week and go for my first follow up next Tuesday. I have lost about 15 pounds so far.

Good Luck and glad to heat that all went well with your surgery. When you say you are having trouble with liquids, Do you mean you have trouble swallowing, or Are you hungry and crave food?
