A few questions...

So its that time of month and I've realized I'm back to having NO self control, like before I got my surgery done. Its always around my time of PMSing. Otherwise, I'm pretty good about sticking to a diet.

Since surgery I've been very paranoid about what I eat and its almost like, if I enjoyed it, I must've gained 20lbs just from eating one small meal. Anyone else having this whole thing mess with your head a little bit? I'm more obsessive with my weight than ever before.

And I went for a fill about 2 weeks ago. I'm due for another next week.... why is it that I'm able to eat more towards the end of those 3 weeks? Am I stretching my band or something?

Thanks ladies & gents for any input you have. <3

It has become a bit of an obsession for me as well, I am constantly thinking about how many calories/how much Protein or fat are in what I'm eating now. I never thought about that before, I don't think I could have added up all the fat I was eating in a day before, scary!!

I am so excited to step on the scales first thing in the morning and see my progress, that I don't want to screw it up by eating too much or drinking empty calories.

My doc told me the band will get looser as you lose weight because you lose the fat under the band as well, so that is why you notice less restriction as the weeks go on.

I think what you are describing is pretty common. Most of us go from eat whatever we want whenever we want, to all of a sudden trying to change our lifestyle. We do this by going a little nutso in the opposite direction. For me, as the months have passed, you find your groove...you don't have to obsess (as much) over the nutrition labels bc you already know.
