I did it!

I've been reading posts on this site for quite a while. This site has been invaluable. I'm writing my first post as I sit in my hotel room in San Antonio, TX. I was banded on Friday by Dr. Rincon and I'm headed home to Oregon tomorrow. Yippee!!

All has gone well, however, like many other new banders, the "burping" saga begins-small price to pay I think :(.

So when do actual dreams of eating real, solid foods go away? I can't remember the last time I dreamt of eating and the last two nights since my surgery, that's all I did-Too Funny :)!

Congratulations and welcome to the site! I will be banded in two days, and I can't wait! There is a forum for those banded in July. Come visit. We have named ourselves the Freedom Fighters (with the July theme). Feel free to join in as we support each other.

Best of luck to you tomorrow! It'll be great! Exciting times ahead.
