Gurgle sound

Just had lap band surgery about 5 days ago and I've been following all of the after-surgery recommendations by my surgeon. However, I'm a little concerned because I'm experiencing a gurgling sound when I breathe. Is that normal? Thanks.:(

Could it possibly be gastric sounds? Or do you feel pretty sure that it is your lungs? If there is any inclination that this sound is from your lungs, you really need to see a doctor quickly. Sometimes after surgery pneumonia can occur, but it's usually in people who are not moving around.

I hope it's your guts making noises, because that is normal and two months after surgery I'm still having the gut sounds, I think it's air or digestive fluids, or both.

Please, talk to your doctor about your concerns as soon as possible. Best of luck to you!
