LC Wilson

I am in the pre-op program in The Weight Loss Surgery Center at Duke University Medical Center. Six monthly appointments with my personal physcian, approval by Medicare, and entry into the program. I have been approved by Psychology and Nutrition and assume I will see the surgeons once I am Medicare approved. I know little about what to expect and am perticularly interested in post-operative course, post-operative hunger and rate of weight loss.

Hello,

I think that recovery is different for everyone, from how hungry a person is to how much pain one is dealing with.

I think the important thing is to get up and walk as soon as possible, follow your doctor's instructions--I did, to the letter, and get as much support as you can.

Good luck, and be sure to let us know what happens.

Debbie
