Pre-op frustrations

Ok so I am now on Day 4 of a 2 week pre-op diet. Day 1 sucked, Day 2 was worse but Day 3 the scale went down nearly 2 pounds from the day before and I was motivated. Yesterday, Day 3, was super busy and ate very little (400 calories). I went for a long moderately paced walk and this AM was excited to get on the scale. I gained almost a pound!!!!!!!!!! Help!!!!

I am on day 27 of liquid protein shakes (my doctor requires two weeks pre op and two weeks post op)!!!

When I first started the liquid protein shakes I too gained a few pounds....I think it's because my body went into "starvation mode" for the first few days. Don't even worry about it...you will begin to loose weight within a week once your body gets used to the lower caloric intake.
