The start to my new improved life...I know it's only a tool, but it is the "tool" I need!

Thanks for the welcome. My surgery date is August 4th.

I have my surgery on July 16th. I'm super excited but a little scared. I've already started walking and eating right hoping that helps afterwards. Good Luck to everyone and keep the post coming.:)

I'm a little scared too...I don't think it would be normail not to be scared! My pre-op is July 20th. I too have started making behavior changes to get used to not drinking at mealtimes. I always drank when I ate! I wonder how pain meds are going to affect my stomach. With only being able to take sips of water the first day, I hope I won't be sick to my stomach! :)
