So, I'm almost 5 weeks out from my banding, and everything has been really good, until yesterday. I went to my support group last night, returned home at about 8:30 pm. Went to take my shirt off, reached down and felt something wet. Looked and saw that I had blood all over my stomach under one of my incisions. The one incision on my far left under my breasts was dark purple and looked like it had a blister. So I immediately panicked, went to the urgent care, and found that I have a "stitch/suture abscess". So now I'm on antibiotics for 10 days. I was so mad. I was having a bad day yesterday as it was, and this was just the icing on the cake. (Sorry I mentioned cake, lol). It's just so weird because until this point, my sutures had been healing fine. The doctor said she thought it was irritated by my bra which makes sense. I just want to focus on getting healthy and this was just a total distraction.

Anyone else having problems with their incisions?

Thanks for letting me vent everyone! I try to talk to my family/boyfriend/friends about it but feel they can't really understand what I'm dealing with. So thanks again for listening!:smile2:

I know! I'd love to burn my bras, that's for sure, but then my boobs would be at my waist, lol.
