Getting a port revision...worried!

I haven't been in a good place with my band for a few months now, ever since I started having to have my fills under xray because he couldn't access the port in the office. My doc told me during the last fill that my port had flipped. It was almost a relief because I've been spiraling out of control in terms of my eating because I was so depressed about my band not working. So, I set up the date for my revision surgery, but now I am worried. Did I do something that caused it to flip? The doc said that it wasn't the pilates and hard work outs that I do, but I have felt pain while working out and am worried that this is what caused the flip. The doc told me that it wasn't, so do I make any changes when I have the surgery? Or just keep working out as usual?

my port has also turned/flipped. I too would like to know the cause of this so I can avoid it happening again. I dont have a regular exersize routine. But I walk ALOT always working around the house and garden with the kids. How can we avoid this?
