June 18, 200917 yr im worried about something. I know erosion is rare but in 5 10 or 20 years wouldnt it start to happen eventually. I just never hear about anyone having it on longer than 5 years
June 18, 200917 yr Since the band was only approved for use in the USA in June of 2001 it's not shocking you don't "hear" about people having one longer than 5 years. However, erosion is very rare. If you're concerned, discuss it with your surgeon. S/he can give you current stats etc.
