I have been to the seminar but wanted to sit down with the surgeon today before I "start" the process as my husband still has questions ( me too ). Are there any questions that I definelty should ask? Were there any questions you wish you had asked at your consult? I am nervous and want to make sure I cover all questions.

Here are a few that I asked: 1) How many of your surgeries have resulted in slippage or erosion. 2) How do I get intouch with someone after normal office hours if I have a question/problem 3) Where will my port be located 4) What is your general procedure concerning fills, how long between visits, who performs them etc. 5) What do you require for a stay afterwards

criteria, what to bring to the hospital, how large is band, when is 1st fill, pre op diet, post op diet, how long will process take, pros and cons, problems associated with lap band. Good luck to you and I hope you get all your answers .
