Pain in lower back

I had surgery 5 days ago. It has gone great until today. I have a lot of pain in my middle back. I read this may be due to de-hydration, but I am sipping all day. Any thoughts?

Me too. I called my doctor and he said take a chewable antacid. Did that, but no relief. It is still painful. I do know that any internal work can sometimes force pain to all kinds of wierd areas that is not obvious. That may be why, I just want relief.
