WOW... i went today to my first support group meeting.. It was amazing. I brought my mom with me for some support, since my husband couldnt get off. It was amazing.. the results that people had were unreal. Mostly RNY patients... but there were a handful of lapland patients.. Everyone was so nice ..and helpful.. I walked in 95% sure this was right for me..and i walked out 110% sure. I have my psych eval on tuesday and then my final visit with the surgeon and then i will just wait for the date. I am so excited to finally have this burded in my life off my shoulders. To finally be able to enjoy my life not thinking about my weight. Thanks for listening... Maria

I went to my first support group meeting on thursday and felt like you did ----- it was incredible. So many nice people, helpful and encouraging. The energy in the room was wonderful! I get banded on Monday. can't wait to join the club.
