Soy protein suggestions????

I got my band one week ago today and am having problems digesting the whey protein. I called my doctor's office and they suggested trying a soy protein or nectar, saying that some people do have problems with whey protein. I have some of the nectar and it says whey protein on it, so that confused me a bit. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for a good soy protein? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!!!

I would recommend Spiru-tein, which I buy from my local health food store. I personally LOVE the vanilla with very vanilla soy milk. It makes the BEST shake. I think of it as dessert. Sometimes I throw in a frozen strawberry and it's absolutely delicious. Just a warning--if you make the shake like I suggested, it sometimes comes out a very very very pale shade of green. Nothing to worry about, and it really tastes like a treat. Their others flavours are pretty darn awesome too. Best of luck !

Thanks for the suggestion! I actually had tried a packet of that - Cookies and Cream, and I like it. Plus, my stomach seemed to be able to handle it so that was a huge plus! I went back to the store today to try some of the other flavors.

Being a lactose intolerant bandster, Spirutein is my go to protein. A little coco powder, .5 teaspoon of LF peanut butter, a dash of vanilla and blend...MMMMM. It tastes better than any other nondairy protein shake I have ever tried, and Ive tried tons.

FYI: If you don't stick with the cookies and cream flavor vanilla is easily customized. BUT even though the package says not to blend, if you don't it will be gritty and you WILL see the Spirulina. Its green, hence the coco powder.
