Im new here, scheduled to be banded on 6/24 by Dr Ortiz in MX who also banded my mom a few years ago.

Im very excited but my husband gets upset everytime I even try to talk about it.

Is your husband worried for you (because of surgery)? Or is he just not understanding why you need it?

I think he's both worried about the procedure and worried that I'll get skinny and leave him (he's about 360lbs)

I'm sorry your husband is finding this tough, have you asked him outright why he gets upset when you talk about it? Would he consider doing it to? It would be an amazing process to go through together.
