please help!

i was banded april 22nd and actually felt like i had no restriction. i started a Water aerobics class about a week ago and now i have massive restriction. i ate a few bites of chicken today, chewed very thoroughly, very small bites and now i feel like i have been punched hard in the stomach. it hurts to breathe and to walk and to lay down. has anyone experienced this before? i emailed my dr and he said he just thinks it stuck and will pass but it hurts to even drink water. how can i deal with the pain?

Tell that doctor that it hasn't gone away! If you are stuck it should pass in a couple of hours. Call him and tell him it has been a week! Not sure what the problem is but remember ( this is my mantra) He did not do the surgery for free. Good luck and let us know how you are.

I thought the inability to drink water or pain doing so was a tell-tale sign that something is wrong?? I'd definitely call your Doc and insist to be seen! It's your body dont live in pain!! Good Luck & keep posted so we know your ok!!

You should definitely see your surgeon as soon as possible, or go to the emergency room, they can at least do a test to see what is going on. Good luck to you.
