Is it just me, or is anyone else feeling that even if you sit under a water fountain your still really really thirsty? I have cotton mouth as soon as I put the glass down.

I 've seen a few posts but lets complile something here, who else has a desert in their mouths

p.s- my throat still hurts from being intubated.

i agree ...i'm always thirsty too. guess its a good thing i'm drinking so much, keeps me full and getting that water in!!

I was like that for the first week at least! I could not get enough water. The second week was much better. The third, I was back to normal.

I woke up in recovery dieing for water. I noticed I was thirsty before I noticed any pain. I was thirsty for at least 4 days or so after surgery.
