BM changes post op--TMI

Ok so I saw the other post on here asking about when to expect a BM. I have been having them and it's completely different than pre-op. I am assuming it's because I am on all liquids, but my BM is all liquid.....is this something that is normal for this stage....I had two today and one yesterday. Really made me nervous.

Everyone in my house cheers when I finally have a BM - it has been a struggle....

The only thing I can tell you to share my struggles is that it reminds me when we got our dog about 8 years ago and he did a doo-doo in the yard instead of the house. We got all excited and made a big deal. So, now instead of getting excited for the dog, my kids (9 and 6) get excited for Dad!

Woo-friggin'-Hoo!

Keep in mind if you are taking pain meds after surgery, a side effect to narcotics is constipation/impaction FYI for a little TMI. lol

Agree with liquid in - liquid out....theory but there are enough solids in the Trader Joe's powder to make some sort of solid movement. If you use a stick mixer with either a banana of the white of an apple and beaten until liquid, there are enough of natures solids to ease your TMI
