glad to find this website

I had my surgery on March 6th, 2009. Dr Dewitt in Birmingham, Alabama did my surgery. I have had 2 fills so far total of 5cc. I am scheduled to return next week for another. I have been very pleased. I have lost 40 pounds so far. I feel great. I am type 2 diabetic and am off ALL medications. That is the best part.

I, too, have found this website to be very helpful, informative and motivational. Glad to hear you're doing so well! I have lost about 20 pounds in 2 weeks - just had surgery 3 days ago. I am very happy with everything so far and am looking forward to my changes coming up.

Good luck!

Congratulations. You are doing great. Which hospital did you get your band? I was band in Birmingham, AL also. I wish you much success on your journey.
