Are you going bald? Or just losing hair? My doc told us in the seminar that we'd all lose at about 3-6 months out, that nothing (protein biotin yada yada etc) would really help (they'd done studies) that it seems tied to the stress of surgery/weight loss, and that within 2-3 months after the start it will stop. he said he's never had a patient that needed a wig or hair piece. Mine fell out and I thought it was TONS but my hairdress of 20 years (this woman knows my hair better than I do) never could tell. It quit and is fine. So unless you are really going bald, I wouldn't worry about it. You may of course ask your surgeon to be sure.

I was banded in Jan. My friend who was banded the year before also lost a lot of her hair. She warned me not to loose the weight too fast. She told me to go onto a multi vitamin called SUPRADYN. Brilliant stuff . You put it into half a glass of water and drink it. They include vitamins, minerals and trace ellements. This is something you can start now. But also see your doctor. Has your hair loss just started since your op. Also are you a man or a woman? Might be just a coincidence!:purplebananna: Hope this helps. Ke
