So yesterday was post-op day 9 and I was actually hungry when I woke up. I started drinking my 1000th protein drink and thought I am really hungry and I felt like I could tolerate a little solids. Plus since some people doctors were letting them move onto mushies by this point I thought it would be ok. I have a strict doctor and am on liquids for 2 weeks, pureed for 2 weeks and then soft foods for 2 weeks before my first fill. So I cooked myself up 2 scrambled eggs. I chewed every bite thoroughly. Almost immediately after eating it my stomach started hurting, then my back and my chest. I couldn't eat anything the rest of the day. I felt like food was stuck in my esophagus and in the back of my throat and had pressure in my chest, even when I went to bed last night. I am feeling really stupid right now. Maybe one egg would have been ok, but it really looked like a small amount. I hope that I didn't do any damage to anything. I guess I will follow doctors orders to the letter now.
