I have had my band just over a year and in the last few days I have had a dull pain near my port site. has anyone else experienced this pain. It almost feels like a gas pain?

OMG I having the same kinda of pain. It's right around the port (just below the port itself) and it feels very sore however the pain comes and goes and I was looking here to see if anyone had any solutions.

i thought my pain was just due to exercise, but decided to have my surgeon check it out. i ended up have a hernia, and while going in to repair it - he noticed a small infection at the port site.

i wouldn't let any oddity of how your feeling or pain go ignored. after 2 rounds of antibiotics, the infection cleared....
