One Week Before Surgury

... My first day with the clear liquid diet... I made it through but was really rough toward the end of the day.

I am not looking forward to the next week!

Talk about panic attack.

How lucky you are! I had to do a preop diet for 3 weeks! And I cheated and so had to do it another 2 1/2 (even though I'd lost 15 pounds) It's hard but it isn't for long; and to be honest post op it is vital you follow docs orders which will probably entail more "liquid diet" while you heal. Hang in there and keep your eye on the goal; it's just a short time in a long life!

Oh I feel for you... I am so sorry. I don't understand why some surgeons require it and others don't ... I didn't have to do it thank god. I went out to my favorite italian dinner at 7pm the night before surgery... The doc told me I could.
