Getting nervous

Scheduled for lap band by Dr. Oliak in Orange County CA on June 15. Any suggestions on getting over the nerves. I am 60 and worried I may be too old for this to do any good. Any oldies out there let me know your thoughts.

I'm 54 and it NEVER occurred to me I was too old for the Lap Band. What did occur was that I am too old to stay fat and live much longer. You don't see many morbidly obese people in their 70's and 80's.

I'm not an "oldie"...but I truly think you are making the right decision. Just remember you will get out of the lapband what you put into it...

Good luck!!
