Getting approved at 19...was it hard?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with getting banding at 18/19 with BCBS... did you have to do anything special or did it happen easily.

Thanks

I see you are going in tomorrow...Good Luck!!! Me and my husband go in today at noon...Very nervous, but my son is a week out from surgery and is doing great so that makes me feel better! Hope you have a speedy recovery and the excess just melts away!

I am 19 now and hoping to get approved. I just started the process so I haven't done any paperwork yet or anything...

I'm 19 and was approved easily with Empire BlueCross BlueShield insurance. I didnt have to do much, New York Bariatrics took care of everything, no hassle at all for me.

i'm not 19 yet but it took 9 months to finally get my date, they didnt send me out for approval til may, got approved in june, then got my date on july 6th. my insurance is Bluecross Blueshield, and im so excited, the day is almost here. (:
