Hello all! My name is Angie and I am 2 weeks away from being in bandland! I am ready to take the next step and am looking forward to making some new friends.

I am 33 and live in the Heartland - Omaha, NE. I am married and have a 15 month old at home! My husband and my son are the lights of my life and I love them dearly.

Decision weight - 280

Current Weight - 276

My band will be done in Mexico by Dr. Ortiz! My mom and I are flying out on the 23rd of April.

Good Luck Angie!!! I am a month away from my surgery... and I am already getting jitters and nervous about it, but I know everything will be fine.:glare:

I have not been nervous....yet. I am not looking forward to the gas pain afterwards, but other than that, I feel pretty good. I am on my pre-op diet now! So I hope to drop 10 lbs before the 14 days is up. I picked up a few things at the store today for my pre-op and post op diet. Next week I will get the rest of my post -op and focus on packing!

I wish we could do more when we are in Mexico, but with the travel advisory we will be staying close to the Marriott. Oh well, maybe next time we are in Mexico we can see more and shop.

Nice to meet you and thank you for posting to my intro! It made me feel welcome!

I really like Omaha. The winters here can be a bit ruff, but all the same it is a great place to live. Thanks for the welcome!
