lapband holiday

:thumbdown:Has anyone had a lapband holiday? How did it work out? Do to some vomiting problems they took all the fill out of my band. The band was put in in July. I am not going to get any fill back for two weeks. Hope that solves the problem.

Hi:

I had to go without fill for a week or so. It's hard. I don't want to have to do that again soon.

Be careful. A friend of mine had to have her band removed and she's gained 40 pounds in 4 months. - YIPPES!

Best wishes to you.

Sue

I had my band unfilled due to stretching. Not because of over eating. I was under a lot of stress and the sucker swelled shut. I am on of those people who carries all my emotions in my stomach I guess. Anyway, it was kind of nice to an extent. I was on liquids for a few weeks then solids. I got to eat a few things I have not had in awhile. I went I got it refilled today and it's going to be ok. Just make sure you exercise. That helped me a lot. I did not lose but the best part I didn't gain any weight.

I posted about this on my blog. You can read how it was for me. I found it quite interesting.
