Hi Everyone

Hi I haven't been banded yet. My appointment with the Doctor is on April 9th. I've been reading the posts here for most of the day. And they have been informative.

I had the Dr's office check to see if my insurance covers the lap band and Yea! they do. Now I just have to get them to approve me for it. Has anyone used Cigna open access plan? If so how hard was it to get approved?

Welcome to LapBandTalk!

If you go to to the Insurance section, you can find a bunch of threads on Cigna or start a new one. I don't know as I had Aetna and a WLS exclusion so I was self-pay.
