Hello, my first time on here.

Hello to all,

I am new to the lapbandtalk community. I recently had my lap band placed on March 23, 2009. I am looking for friends who are going through the same life changing experience. I hope to get to know alot of you and learn new things.

Sincerely Valerie

Hi Valerie! Welcome to LBT :)

You will love it here. You already have the band so you're doing good.

You should go to the main forums page and find the March 2009 Bandster thread and join in with them too. They will surely be able to help you along as well since they just had surgery in the same month :)
