Friday Weigh Ins

I weigh in weekly and plan on posting here to keep me focused. If anybody else wants to post their losses on fridays with me feel free. I figure the more the merrier and we can cheer each other on as we start climbing back down the scale! Personally I find Fridays help keep me focused over the weekends.

Hey guys

Here's the updated spreadsheet for 1st May weigh ins!

Thinwithin, keeping a record and making a fuss about who is the "biggest" loser of the week is motivating for me, so thought that others might find it the same, but agree, it might seem a bit like a competition - but this was not my intention at all. I will just keep updating the spreadsheet for those who want to be on it, but anyone is free to post on this thread and not be on the spreadsheet if they don't want to!

Between all of us we have lost nearly 500lbs since on this journey already. Unreal! We are on our way baby!!

Band Groupie - 17LB IN ONE WEEK!! YOU ROCK!

Good Googly Moogly!! That is amazing!!!

As far as the "competition" goes dont worry about me, I will keep posting and participating :0)

Congrats Band Groupie!! I like to make a big fuss too

I think this is great ,it keeps me accoutable each week for my actions. I will keep posting each week, I also LOVE!! seeing the updated speadsheets on how everyone else is doing.

i haven't seen my surgeon yet (5/22) but i did see my family dr last week. i was banded 4/7 - i've lost 6 lbs and my cholesterol, blood pressure, A1C were all down into the good numbers. he is hoping to get me off of some of my meds by july!!

That's awesome KMG, congrats!

Ciao, Here in Italy I had no pre-op anything I weighed myself befor going into the hospital it was 216.8 a number Ill never forget

Ciao Ragazzi today I am 204 , tommorrow ?????

lingling-

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the spreadsheet...it's very motivating and I especially love seeing the percentages and what others are shooting for.

My goal BMI is somehow wrong on the sheet (probably just a typo)...I wish I only had 2.8 BMI to go, but my goal BMI is I think a 22, not 29.6 (I know, probably not attainable, that's the lowest end of the range I'm shooting for).

Weight loss has stalled as expected on this starvation mode post-op diet. I'll check in tomorrow! Thanks again!!!! -BG

FRIDAY WEIGH IN

8th May 2009

***********************

Welcome to this week's weigh in!

I weighed in this morning at 126.2kg or 277.6lb

11.2kg down yay! :)

I look forward to hearing about everyones' losses this week!!

xxx

Good Morning!

I'm 215 today...3 pound loss.

This is a good lesson about being in 'starvation mode' for everyone. I've been tracking calories and it's been 400-500 cals. per day (I'm still on my mostly clears liquid post-op diet). My weight loss has come to a screeching halt. So when you get discouraged with your weight loss on this journey, just remember that eating too low of calories can bring your metabolism to a halt as your body conserves the energy it has. I've seen many posts on LBT where people want to jump start their weight loss and cut back to 800 or so calories a day and their WL stops instead...something to keep in mind for the years ahead.
