Hello, my name is Stephanie and I am new to this forum. I want to have the lap band done, but I have medicaid. I was reading on here that a girl with Illinois medicaid had it done, so I am gonna contact her! I have Illinois Medicaid! So, wish me luck and maybe in like a month or so I can have it done!:smile2:

As far as I know, medicaid does cover the band, but it generally takes longer than a month.
