Newbie in SoCal

I have just started the process to get my lab band. I have worked with my doctor and am now working with my insurance company. I am still a little scared about all this but I would like to be healthier.:sneaky:

Hi there,

I'm in SoCal as well, I went to Dr. Owens in Rancho Cucamonga. I had my surgery 1/19 and don't regret a single moment. I've lost 22 pounds so far and down 2 pant sizes. I know its scary, but you'll be so happy after your done.

Another SoCal Newbie here, too! Hello :tt2:! I had my surgery on 3/9 and have lost 13 lbs so far. I live in Newbury Park (Ventura County), Thousand Oaks area. Good luck to all!

I'm also in So Cal, Garden Grove. I was banded 03/13/09 at the OBand Center and have lost 17lbs so far. I'm sure you will do great :cursing: if you need a buddy. i'm here for you! Send me a message if you need to chat.

I'm also a So CA bander. This is a great site for information and advice! I was really nervous at first, too..... I think that's natural. I had no idea what to expect or exactly what would happen. Read, read, read and gather all the info you can... it really helped me to feel confident that this was the right choice for me and I now know pretty much what to expect thanks to all the research I have done! The people here are great too!
