Cute Story

I had a very cute thing happen yesterday and wanted to share.

When I went in for surgery we wanted my 3 children to be very careful with me when I got home so we explained to them that they would have to be careful. While we were at the hospital my 14 year old heard my 8 year old tell my 3 year old that we have to be gentle with mommy because she's gonna have "scratches" on her belly.

My 3 year old has been very interested in looking at my "scratches" so I show her when she asks. Yesterday I noticed everytime my 3 year old hugged or even touched me she would pull up her shirt and look at her belly. I finally realized what she was doing and asked "Are you worried your going to get my "scratches" if you touch me?" She said yes. Poor little thing. Of course I explained she couldn't get my sratches and gave her a big hug.

Gotta love kids. They're so cute.:lunch:

your children sound wonderful, I'm glad they are so supportive.:lunch:

How darling. Kids make life so much fun. So do our furry friends. When I returned from the hospital, my dog kept sniffing my tummy and would put her head in my lap and whimper. She was very aware that I had been "injured". It amazes me how they know.
