I am almost 4 weeks post-op and am on mushies. I 've been getting that "stuck feeling" or at least that's what I think it is- sometimes when I eat too fast. It's a pain in the center of my chest almost like I can't swallow the food down- until I take a sip of water or try to puke some of it up. Why is happening? It doesn't happen with soup , or protein drinks but it happens with string cheese, tuna, eggs. I think that I am probably eating too fast for my stomach- I don't have any fluid in the band yet- my surgeon said it is in neutral position. Is this my body's way of trying to tell me to slow down? Any advice is welcome- still haven't lost anything since surgery- I know that Ia m not suppose to compare myself to others- but- It's frustrating!
