The area where my port was sore or tender longer than the rest of the holes.

Welcome Justme3! My port sight stayed sore for a long time as well. I was told this was normal because they attach it to the muscle tissue.

Hi Justme. Congrats on having the surgery. My port-site took the longest to heal. It was about 3 months or so before I realized I couldn't "feel" it anymore. It wasn't necessarily sore, I was just aware of it. From time to time when I'm doing laundry, or if I do abs a few days in a row, I feel a bit sore for a few days. It's not a bad pain, I just feel it. No rhyme or reason really. My surgeon said that is typical. Nothing to worry about as long as it's not sharp or agonizing pain. Good luck on your journey!
