hello

I am new here, I attended the required seminar for LapBand. And i have my first appointment with my doctor on wed the 18th. I am rather nervous to find out what the next step is, a coworker of mine is going through the same steps, except she is already on to her psych eval.

I guess thats all for now!

Thank you everyone!

I have lost 32 lbs so far on my diet, I had my follow up appointment today with Dr. Bass and it went okay. They havent gotten into the details really about anything financial wise yet though, i know i need 800 before they will do the surgery. I have to go set an appointment for the psych evaluation which is luckily covered under my insurance. But then I need to pay 150 out of pocket to see a nutritionist. :sneaky:

Due to my jeep giving me some issues, and a pending student loan that needs paid off it looks like I am going to be holding off a few months before I do too much. I will get to the psych eval and then probably have to hold off before I head to the nutritionist, and get the money up for the surgery. Total i think they said to expect to pay close to 2,000 dollars.

Its definetely interesting though to learn about the process and see how everyone else does theirs, process wise, financially and everything. I applied for the financing and was denied.... it happens. Guess I will just have to keep plugging away at work and get there slowly but surely.

There is always hope.
