Addicted to the scale

So it is obvious. I am addicted to the scale. I have packed my scale away because I am moving actually today is the big move. I am having anxiety over how much I way. I want to know. Not having the scale at the end of my bed every morning I wake is giving me anxiety. I never realized how bad it was.

After everything is moved I am going to try to keep it packed. I seem to be eating better since I am afraid of the unknown. With it laying around if I cheated, I would weigh myself a couple days after and if my cheating didn't have an effect. I would push to see how far I could take my cheating without having an effect.

Anyone else experiencing this?

The scales I've been addicted to, I just found out have been lying to me! Lol!

I've had a frustrating few weeks because my weight has been fluctuating up and down on different days, by as much as 3lbs from one day to the next. Then I went to see my Dr on Tuesday and found out I weighed less than my scales ever said I weighed, and that was just after lunch and fully dressed!

I went home, got completely undressed and hopped onto my scales again and it STILL said I weighed almost 3lbs MORE than my DR's scales said I did just 20 minutes earlier.

So I don't trust my scales anymore. In fact I think my relationship with it is over. :cursing:

LOL... That had to be a great feeling though when you saw those numbers appear on the doctor's scale!
