Hiiii :)

I just joined this site today and I'm very excited. I have not been banded yet but will soonish hopefully. I have had numerous appointments but still need to have my sleep study done. I feel like its sooo hard to schedule everything because my schedule of classes is hard to plan around. After my sleep study (3/27) I have another appt with my surgeon to hopefully set a date, which is very exciting! Anyone have any advice? how long did you have to wait between setting a date and getting the surgery?

Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Amanda

Hey amanda, what up? The length of the wait varies greatly from person to person (and from doc to doc). I personally only had to wait like 10 days from the day my surgery was approved by insurance until I was on the table. I hope you get in quick. Good luck!

Welcome to LapBandTalk!

It depends on how busy your surgeon is. I could have had mine 2.5 weeks after my first consult, but I couldn't get off work. So it was more like 6 weeks.
