Yep! This is it!

Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of my life. I have been jumping back and forth from scared out of my mine to completely stoked!

I am fearful, anxious, excited, and motivated. I have been overweight my whole life and can't believe that it is going to be over. I have to admit... I can't picture it. I'm having a hard time seeing myself as skinny. What will I look like?! Ha! Seriously tho...

My surgery is tomorrow morning in Tempe, AZ. My parents won't be there but my BF will. I'm thankful to have him by my side.

Whew. Here goes nothing!!!!

Best of luck to any one else having surgery tomorrow or any time soon!!!

Haha. This morning on my way to surgery I found a window. It was perfect!!!! :-D

Everything went so well. I feel great and am up and walking around ever hour. I am not hungry! WOO HOO! My throat hurts a bit... nothing more than just a sore throat! As far as gas goes.... all is well. I haven't taken anything and it isn't seeming to bother me. My insicions are tender but bearable. Overall I am suprised at how great I feel!

I had a little anxiety attack right before I went in... just had to reassure myself that I was making the right decision. I started picturing the girl I saw in the window and my nerves started to calm down.

Thanks for all the positive words of encouragement. I've started my new chapter. I am thrilled.

That girl in the window is you "the inside you" the one thats healthy and feels great! I can't wait to join you on the band journey I'm counting down the days only 11 more days till surgery and I can't wait!!! I'm so ready to start my new life and see the window me in just a regular mirror! How long before you go back to work/school? I took off a week do you think that will be enough you said you feel good now I hope I have to same recovery time! :w00t:

11 days goes by soooo fast! Get ready!

I only took a week off... Well almost. Thursday through Wednesday!! At this rate I think Ill be good to go. Probably just a little sore.

I did read a forum someone posted and said Day 2 was harder. I am praying that it isn't the case for me!

Keep me updated on your status... Ill fill you in on how things keep going!

Congratulations! One week from tomorrow for me, I can't wait! I hope that things go smoothly. I am glad you could think of your window to make you feel better!

Good luck on your journey!

Hotmama!

Good luck on your surgery. My best reccommendation is to just walk around as much as you can. Last night my BF and I took the dogs for a quick walk... I walked slow and it did tire me out for sure but I think it is making my recovery speed along.

I'm still not hungry... it is absolutely WONDERFUL!!!

This is amazing! Best decision yet!

Best of luck Aimtown!!!

If you have any questions feel free to ask... I'm still a newbie but may be able to help you!

LapLady,

Yaaa! Monday! I bet your so excited!

Pain had its toll on me yesterday. Day 1 was a piece of cake... Day 2 was a little rough... only toward the evening. I felt extremely weak and had some gas. Today is better. I am able to have more options with food... First two days I had to do a clear liquid and now the rest of the week just liquids. I am hoping that having Protein shakes will help boost my energy a bit!

Best of luck to you. I wouldn't stress too much about pain. It is totally bearable.. just have some drugs on hand!
