Hello

Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone, I have not been banded, i am in Ruston Louisiana and i have medicaid, and i want to get banded, but am having a hard time finding someone to take medicaid for the procedure. I can get the referral but need someone to do it, and what are the requirements

I would call the medicaid office. They should be able to tell you what the requirements are and what doctors take medicaid. I would say you will probably have to have a bmi over 40 AND co morbidities for medicaid to pay, but only their office will be able to tell you for sure.
