Quick poll...How much did you loose in your PREOP diet? I am on day 3 and have lost 1.5 pounds so far and am wondering what I have to look forward to by the end of this.

I lost 13 pnd in 3 days on liquid diet surprised me.

i lost 4 lbs on my preop diet (i only needed to lose 4 lbs so i was happy)

I lost 9 lbs in 10 days, and I was happy!

I lost six pounds the first week and nothing the second week.

I lost 9 pounds in two weeks, which was fine. My doc required that I lose 7 pounds.

I lost 14 lbs in 2 weeks. The pre-op diet is a piece of cake compared to the post op! You are also feeling better (excited about your "new" life, etc) pre-op than post-op (sore, tired, weak, etc). Good luck!

I lost 11 pounds in 14 days! I am 14 days post-op and have only lost 1 pound:(

I lost 15 lbs in two weeks.

I lost 20 pounds in the 2 week pre-op diet, I was really surprised! I think it was the protein shakes that really helped me a lot, Optifast is really filling.
