Just starting my journey

My mind wonders what lies ahead for me. I pray that my insurance company will pay for my surgery. All my labs are borderline and for me I see this as a turning point. I want to loose the weight and be that person I feel is fighting an awful struggle to get out. I pray I am not turned down until they can see my health deteriorate. Any words of encouragement is always appreciated. :)

Once you decide to have a procedure, do it. Don't let anything stand in your way (meaning money, babysitters, spouses, etc)

Try to get your insurance to cover it. But if they don't, still have it done. Well worth the money.

I would love to be able to go ahead no matter what but money would be an issue if we don't get accepted. Knowing doctors they will do whatever they can to help get me approved. I know my insurance does pay for the procedure and I have a list of their requirements. I do have a question about the psych. evaluation. Do they want to see that you have a lot of stress in your life that interferes with your attempts to diet or do they want to see you without a lot of stress in your life?
