Sodium

Can someone please tell me the appropriate amount of sodium a lap bander should get per day.

I have started eating Lean Cuisines and my weight loss has slowed...I thought it could be due to the sodium.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Yes, some of those frozen dinners can be quite high in sodium, that is why I prefer to buy fresh meat and produce and prepare my own meals which can be frozen.

The RDA is 2400 milligrams of sodium a day. I go by the AHA rules which are 1000 milligrams per every 1000 calories (If your meal has 200 calories then I try not to let the sodium be too much higher than 200 mg).

Ya....try to stay away from that stuff.....I do and I think it helps! Plus I've been drinking lots of water and that is also helping. I've noticed that when I drink water I don't feel as bloated, my rings aren't as tight!
