Just got first fill on Monday

I guess I'm confused about what I thought restriction would feel like. I eat my four ounces with no problem. I have to remind myself to go slow and chew well, but I haven't felt what I thought was restriction. What I am experiencing is no more hunger, yet not really a fullness or satiety, but just not interested in any more food. Then I stay hunger-free. Today, I forgot about lunch because I didn't get hungry. Since I'm restricted to three four ounce meals and no snacks, I will have to make sure to shedule eating. I was really worried about things getting stuck or PBing and I'm just kind of surprised. Please don't get me wrong, I am not complaining in any way but just wondering if I am in a "normal" category??

I just got my 1st fill today as well. i got 4 cc's. I feel the same way as you. Although I am being careful when I eat. I did feel fuller a little faster today though. I guess it's good that were not getting anything stuck and that were not having any trouble getting stuff down.

I got my first fill today and I had food get stuck twice and OUCH did it hurt!!! I just slowed down and chewed my food more and kept on eating. I never felt that "full" feeling or any kind of restriction but I just stopped myself from eating.

I know its only been a few hours since I had my first fill, but I was expecting to feel satisfied after a few bites. I hope that maybe my restriction will show up at some point.

Yea, I had my fill yesterday...4.5cc's and I did liquids the rest of yesterday and this morning just to be safe. I don't feel a lot of restriction either, but like the rest of you I do NOT want to PB or worse, throw up anything if I can help it. I am just planning on eating smaller meals that have good passing consistency for the next few days.

Can somone tell me what is PBing/

PBing, is 'productive burping'....which happens when you go past the threshold of what you can take in after you have been banded as a burp that brings stuff back up, that is not exactly the same as vomiting.

I also just had my first fill, 3 cc in a 14 cc band. The doc told me to stick with pureed foods for a couple of days, but I ate some really soft fish and mashed potatoes for dinner today and felt no restriction. I hear it can take more than one fill, so I will just track my calories and protein and plod on.
