newbie here

Hi all,

I'm Janna from the Kansas City area. I'm hoping to get the lap band around June/July of this year. I have done the seminar and I have my first consult with Dr. Hitchcock on 03/17.

I am excited and nervous at the same time. I was wavering and on the fence about it and if I want to do this, but now I am absouletely 100% sure. Being thin and healthy is way more important than being able to eat as much as I want of my favorite foods for the rest of my life!

I'm ready to start a new life and enjoy a hobbie other than food!

Welcome to LapBandTalk!

I understand about being nervous. WLS is a big step. But I'm so glad I had mine.
