Hello Everyone,

I have to admit that I have been a lurker on this site for almost 2 years. I just recently got my surgery date of 3/12 and thought it was about time that I joined and started posting.

I really wanted to thank all the members here for being so open and honest about their lapband journeys. You all gave me the courage to get started and to keep going when my insurance denied me 4 or 5 times. I feel like you have all provided me with so much knowledge about the band and because of that I feel more prepared for my own journey.

I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone.
