Yup, that's the gas from the surgery collecting up in your shoulder. It's VERY common. When they do laparoscopic surgery they blow up your tummy with gas so they have room to move the instruments.

It will pass soon enough. Take GasX and pain meds and walk around as much as possible. That helps get things moving along.

I'm just over 2 weeks out of surgery and my shoulder hurt up til just a few days ago - much more so than my stomach. If Gas-X Plus - the kind with simithicone(?) doesn't work, try a heating pad - but whatever you do, do NOT use a massager. OMG - I hurt 10 times worse when I tried that. Also, laying on my shoulder relieved the pain a little more too.

Yup on the 8 months preggo thing. I was SOOO bloated. Even my sister was like "dayum!!" It goes away, I PROMISE!!!!

It took me about a week before I began feeling more normal so just hang in there!!
