Afraid to loose weight pre-op

I was barley approved for my sugery, and after a bout of food posioning I have lost some weight. And even though I wasn't put on a pre-op diet, I want to start eating better before I go into surgery and start exercising to make the whole process easier.

So anyway, I called my doc and they said it was fine, if I was already approved they won't take it back if I loose weight, but I'm still afraid they will.

Does anyone have experience with this?

I don't think you will have any problems with them taking an approval back. Most of us have to go through a diet with a nutritionist even if some barely made the cut off. The doc's want to make sure that you can lose the weight and follow a diet.

I was approved and then lost 37 lbs prior to my surgery. I was worried too but it was needless. Once I was approved the insurance agency never requested more information from my doctor.
